2012-2013 Transportation Fee for Service2012-2013 Transportation Fee for Service
The Board of Education has approved a flat rate for transportation services for the school year 2012-2013. There are three options for payment:
· $200.00 flat fee for the year, as many rides as you want, paid in advance.
· $30.00 per month flat fee, for a maximum of $240.00 for the year.
· Pay per ride at a $2.00 per ride, not to exceed 15 rides per month.
Rides within a month that reach or exceed 15 rides will be billed at
the monthly charge of $30.00.
Note: Flat fees are non-refundable; the only exception is if you move out of the District.
On the $30.00 monthly option, if the patron has one ride within the month this fee will not be carried over. If no rides within a month, the $30.00 fee will carry over to the following month.
In addition to the above, a daily bus pass may be purchased at the School Office for $2.00 for the occasional rider, or a student that would like to go home with another student. Along with the $2.00 bus pass card a school bus pass from the office must be obtained. This is to ensure that the student has permission from their parents/guardian to go to another location.
A monthly service fee will be added to all monthly and pay per ride accounts in the amount of $2.00 to cover administrative costs.
Last year’s patrons will not have to fill out a new application for the upcoming school year. You may come into the Transportation Office to make your payment by check or cash. Credit card payments will be handled through Pay For It. In order to use Pay For It you must set up an account by going to www.payforit.net. The Transportation Office will have a computer available to assist you in setting up this account and to make payments if necessary. The Transportation office is open from 5:00 am - 5:30 pm, Monday - Friday.
Transportation is pleased to announce that we have added more convenient stops this year. The new routes are posted on the Transportation Website. If you need assistance, please contact the Transportation Office at 719-495-1159 or busfees@d49.org. Additional information is also available on the website under Transportation FAQ.
